Our CBIZ Plymouth Meeting office is comprised of several business entities that provide accounting, insurance, life insurance, employee benefits and payroll services - all working together to help your company grow and succeed.

We are looking for an experienced administrative support person to assist our administrative team. This position requires a strong knowledge of Word and the ability to learn specific accounting programs for CPA firms.  The position will be full-time and will require over-time during our busy seasons.

Essential Functions and Primary Duties

  • Processing tax returns (experience preferred, but not required)
  • Assist in any administrative or clerical duties that contribute to the function of the Tax Department such as scanning and storing client information, typing general correspondence and engagement letters, perform data entry, printing, faxing and mailing, etc.
  • Execute additional administrative duties as assigned
  • Effectively operate all department equipment and software applications
  • Work with other administrators to ensure the tax group is organized in a high paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Administrative experience preferred
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Able to work and complete tasks without being micromanaged
  • Detail oriented and resourceful
  • Experience with office equipment such as fax machines, copiers, and scanners
  • Candidates must be proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Adobe Acrobat. 

    •*Knowledge of CCH products (Global fx (or) Axcess Tax) is a plus!**
  • Able to multitask and follow priorities to ensure all project deadlines are met

Qualifications Required

  • High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of an organization, both internally and externally
  • Proficient use of applicable technology
  • Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently
