Essential Functions and Primary Duties:

  • Process Insured Premium using on-line benefit system
  • Invoice clients for premium and enter account receivable into QuickBooks
  • Receive Insurance Carriers bills and enter as payable into QuickBooks
  • Track and enter payment of premium in QuickBooks
  • Reconcile Carrier bills and initiate payment via check or ACH for supervisor approval
  • Notify carriers of any needed adjustments to bills and track
  • Reconcile client premium payment checking accounts
  • Produce quarterly financial statements for client accounts
  • Maintain data in SalesForce and CBIZ Solutions

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and Quickbooks

Minimum Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred
  • 3 years of accounting experience required
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of the organization, both internally and externally
  • Possess effective customer service skills
  • Proficient use of applicable technology; aptitude and willingness to benefits technology and accounting system (Experience with Microsoft Office and Quickbooks preferred)
  • Must be a team player and have the ability to work in a team environment, as well as independently
  • Well organized with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail, while prioritizing multiple responsibilities
  • Must possess the ability to maintain confidential information
