This position will provide service to one or more client entities or client investors and will contribute as a key member of the Private Equity Revenue team. This is a new position that will likely expand in responsibility as this segment of our business grows and will potentially assume day to day supervision of other administrative resources on this team.

Essential Functions and Primary Duties

  • For Client Entities
    • Complete IRS forms Forms SS-4, 8832, 2848, W-8/9 and update for changes in client circumstances
    • Process IRS GIIN Registrations & Cancellations and Local Country GIIN Enrollments Provision of Forms W-8/9 & Self-Certification at account opening
    • Prepare forms 1042/8804/FATCA/CRS annual filings, run reports, track progress, facilitate provisions and monitor notice receipt
  • For Client Investors
    • Participate in stages of on-boarding & transfer process for Client Investors
    • Review subscription documents for completion
    • Responsible for updating files, including annual solicitations for expirations
    • Communicate with clients and coordinate with third parties as needed
  • Manage internal trackers and follow up as necessary to ensure internal/external deadlines are met
  • Research and compile miscellaneous requests for information
  • Provide tax operational support including processing of client tax returns in an accurate and timely manner
  • Responsible for system administration/data entry and assist with maintenance of state waiver information for assigned clients
  • Collaborate with other team members in performing duties that contribute to the function of the Tax Department such as preparing general correspondence, drafting engagement letters, performing data entry, printing, faxing and mailing, etc.
  • Prepare check requests and route for approval and processing
  • Assist with preparing, mailing and/or scanning client documents and notice responses
  • Perform additional responsibilities in support of Private Equity clients and team members

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in the public accounting industry or a professional services environment
  • Prior supervisory experience
  • Professional discretion and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
  • Strong initiative, independent problem solving skills and entrepreneurial work style
  • Highly competent in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat DC
  • Working knowledge of CaseWare, CCH Axcess, Practice Engine, Concur, and XCM

Qualifications Required

  • 7 or more years of client service or administrative experience in a fast paced, deadline driven professional office environment
  • High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing throughout all levels of an organization, internally and externally
  • Ability to prioritize work, multi-task and complete assignments independently
  • Prior knowledge of tax accounting software
  • Ability to work in a team environment, as well as independently
