CBIZ Insurance Services, Inc. is the property & casualty division of CBIZ, and we’re looking for an experienced, dedicated Senior Account Executive to join our expanding Property & Casualty team.

The Senior Account Executive would be responsible for managing client relationship. The Senior Account Executive provides the clients with financial analysis, consultant and strategic direction.

Essential Functions and Primary Duties

  • Work with client service team to implement strategy and meet customer needs
  • Execute solid analysis, delivering creative and practical solutions for clients
  • Serve as client’s valued advisor, building a strategic and personal relationship with key client decision makers
  • Manage new client implementation process
  • Participate in RFP process and finalist presentations
  • Evaluate marketing results and develop recommendations to client
  • Negotiate the renewal action with carriers and present to client
  • Educate clients on applicable legislation and local market
  • Identify and propose additional services to existing clients
  • Apply industry knowledge to expand cross-serve opportunities
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory guidelines
  • Responsible for meeting annual sales goals if applicable to position
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications Required

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 8 years experience managing multiple clients of increasing complexity
  • Demonstrate industry experience; product knowledge, proposal process, underwriting, regulatory trends and presentations skills
  • Must have and preserve required licenses/certifications
  • Expertise in managing clients with alternative funding arrangements
  • Expert knowledge of state and federal benefits legislation
  • Proficient use of applicable technology
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization, both internally and externally
  • Must be able to travel based on client and business needs
