CBIZ Network Solutions has a Phone Support Engineer position available in Maryland Heights, MO. This position provides field technicians with high level, over-the-phone technical troubleshooting support for mechanical and electronic equipment, including computers, printers, telephone systems, cabling, fax machines, etc. We provide full benefits and training.

The position involves the following functions and requires the following qualifications:

Essential Functions:

  • Troubleshoot and repair hardware and software issues with router, computer, printer, phone, fax, scanning, audio and video systems.
  • Troubleshoot and repair connectivity issues with cable, DSL, cellular, and T1 data circuits.
  • Provide excellent customer service and advanced technical support to CBIZ and Edward Jones field, home office and management staff.
  • Assist field service technicians with new branch installs, branch office moves, hardware moves, adds, and changes.
  • Conduct training for new hires.
  • Create and maintain documentation used by phone support engineers and field service technicians.
  • Follow proper escalation procedures to ensure MAC activities and maintenance issues are completed in a timely manner.
  • Develop high-level technical solutions to mechanical and electrical equipment problems.
  • Handle multiple tasks and large call volumes.
  • Act as a liaison between Edward Jones corporate headquarters and field service technicians.
  • Assumes responsibility for related duties as required or assigned.


  • Associates degree from accredited college or technical school.
  • Two to five years of prior job-related experience.
  • Excellent communication, public relations, technical, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Able to use general office equipment.
  • Experience with incident tracking software, and the Microsoft Office Suite.
