Essential Functions and Primary Duties:


•         Daily account manager duties to include:  client phone calls, requests for new business, renewal marketing, processing of changes, underwriting requests, cancellation and payment matter on your assigned book, etc.
•         Carrier Communication:  Meet with marketing reps, distribute carrier correspondence to keep the team up to date on changes in the marketplace, etc.
•         Staff Development and Training:  work with team to identify areas of weakness and make appropriate recommendations/requirements for education in these areas
•         Management of workload assignments
•         Management of departmental procedures/processes
•         Development of marketing campaigns to enhance department growth
•         Hold team meetings to maintain and enhance team building and cultural strength
•         Set goals for the department and individual team members
•         Maintain and communicate specific carrier goals in order to optimize contingency opportunities
•         Ensure the department is compliant with all regulatory guidelines
•         Additional Responsibilities as reasonably assigned  Minimum Qualifications:
•         Bachelor’s degree, or High School Diploma with extensive insurance education preferred
•         5 years’ experience in High Net Worth account management with at least 2 years’ experience in management
•         Must have and maintain Florida 2-20 license
•         Technical knowledge in affluent client needs and account strategy
•         Extensive knowledge of insurance contract language, exclusionary provisions, and product differences
•         Experience in Sagitta and Image Right preferred
•         Proficient in Excel, Word, and computer savvy in researching the internet to gain client insight/property details
•         Demonstrated strong communication skills:  written and verbal
•         Strong leadership skills:  able to lead by own daily example
•         Organized, detail-oriented, and strong problem solving skills
•         Ability to travel as needed
