Essential Functions and Primary Duties

  • Submit improvement ideas for better efficiency/higher quality
  • Enter DRN information into the intranet
  • Mail/email participant distribution paperwork
  • Receive completed participant paperwork and check for completeness; follow-up as necessary
  • Complete loan amortization schedules, promissory notes and fund company paperwork as necessary
  • Mail/fax final fund company and plan sponsor correspondence as necessary
  • Cross-check other processor work for errors
  • Enter information into the intranet for tracking purposes
  • Process force-outs for non-responsive terminated participants
  • Process loan defaults for non-responsive terminated participants
  • Process corrective distributions/RMDs from the DC department
  • Enter 1099-R information on distributions where CBIZ is responsible for issuing
  • Miscellaneous mailings and projects as they occur
  • Manage Plan Termination distribution projects
  • Assist Client Service Representatives and other internal team members with distribution related requests
  • Manage incoming phone calls from participants, clients, brokers, advisors and fund companies; assist with all distribution related questions/issues
  • Answer client/participant/advisor emails and voicemails according to the CBIZ standard service level
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 1 year of relevant work experience
  • Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently
  • Must obtain and preserve required licenses/certifications
  • Proficient use of applicable technology
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization, both internally and externally
