Network Solutions has a Network Support Specialist position available in Maryland Heights, MO. Network Support Specialists are responsible for providing tier 2 global branch network and tiers 2 and 3 telephony support for our client offices. The Network Support Specialist will provide excellent technical network and telephony support while working in partnership with departments and divisions to seek continuous improvement in streamlining service delivery.

Essential Functions and Primary Duties:

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical network and telephony problems
  • Provide technical network and telephony support to Edward Jones global branch office
  • Provide excellent support to the Branch Telecom Support (BTS) team or the Branch Data Support (BDS) team.
  • Work to improve service delivery so Edward Jones Financial advisors can further client relationship

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Telecommunications or Engineering preferred or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 2 years experience in telecommunications and networking technologies or experience in a Helpdesk environment with an emphasis on analytical work. This includes experience in one of the following areas of responsibility: LAN Operations, WAN Operations, or Telephony Operations.
  • Basic experience in support and maintenance of network and/or telecommunications systems including carrier-provided data and voice communication circuits.
