CBIZ is seeking a full time Junior IT Developer in our Woodstock, GA office to work with the benefits administration group on our current and next generation products. The programming team builds and maintains our core business systems which are used by internal and client-facing parties to administer employee benefit programs for large and small clients across the country. Our team is a diverse and dynamic group which thrives in a fast paced, results-oriented environment. Essential Functions and Primary Duties

  • Update client-facing systems in response to requests and bug reports
  • Translate specs into operational code in existing products
  • Participate in software development lifecycle with other developers
  • Collaborate with the team to overcome technology and business challenges
  • Peer reviews of teammates’ work
  • Diagnose and solve production issues
  • Assist in deployment to production environment
  • Test and document deployed solutions

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2 years IT related experience 
  • Experience creating web applications within PowerBuilder
  • Experience coding in php,, or Visual Studio
  • Experience using and coding web services or RESTful APIs
  • Knowledge of CSS, Bootstrap, and jquery

Minimum Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Exposure to Object-Oriented Programming languages
  • Strong problem solving and diagnosing skills
  • Exposure to Sybase, Oracle, or MSSQL querying, tuning, and design a plus
  • Must be able to demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to follow technical instructions and guidelines
  • Able to work in a team environment
