Clients in a wide array of industries rely on us for national-caliber expertise and technical depth combined with highly personalized, local service.   We are seeking an Integrated Marketing Communications Director to lead the inbound and outbound marketing efforts of our growing and dynamic Property & Casualty Programs Division. Our ideal candidate will be energetic, creative, a strong team leader, and possess advanced knowledge of best practices in B2C and B2B digital and traditional marketing strategies.

Essential Functions and Primary Duties

Digital Marketing Demand Generation

  • Lead outbound and inbound marketing programs using email, marketing automation, CRM, web, analytics, SEO and SEM that drive revenue for sales teams and increase market penetration.
  • Drive consistent evaluation of programs with data-driven approach so all programs are adapting to market trends and sales feedback loop to continually improve on outcomes.

Traditional Marketing Communications

  • Spearhead national and regional brand-building strategies, including advertising, public relations and tradeshows, to increase awareness in the marketplace.
  • Integrate best practice marketing communications strategies into client service and sales funnel communication to consistently enhance and streamline prospect-to-client experience.
  • Set and continually evolve Division’s value proposition and visual identity ensuring it’s relevant, differentiating and memorable.

Marketing & Sales Alignment

  • Serve as connector between sales and marketing teams ensuring leads are handed off to sales, adjusting marketing programs based on sales feedback loop, creating sales-enabling reports and dashboards, and maintaining consistent internal communication with sales leadership and associates.

Personnel & Budget Management

  • Manage, train and mentor a creative team, including content writer, graphic designer, and social media strategist.
  • Manage and adhere to budget allocations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Expertise in B2B or B2C marketing with proven track record in affecting market growth
  • Experience in modern digital marketing tools and technologies to drive sales funnel conversion
  • Strong knowledge of search ranking optimization
  • Ability to analyze data and translate findings into recommendations and action plans, then fully execute on those plans
  • Ability to challenge the status quo, think outside the box, and propose new initiatives to improve engagement and lead conversion, generate new leads, and increase web traffic
  • Demonstrated experience with CRMs and marketing automation systems, particularly HubSpot, Salesforce and Pardot
  • Practical knowledge of Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager preferred.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 8 years experience
  • 6 years supervisory experience
  • Ability to manage deadlines, work on multiple assignments and prioritize each assignment as necessary
  • Proficient use of applicable technology
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate
