About the Role

We are seeking an Inside Sales Associate to help to achieve sales goals by supporting and driving specific sales campaign initiatives in line with the company’s overall sales and marketing strategy. This role will also encompass marketing, sales and administrative tasks in support of lead generation and business development campaigns.  

Essential Functions and Primary Duties

  • With oversight and guidance, assume ownership of and deliver on lead generation campaigns for direct to portfolio companies, investment banks, private equity fund CFOs, and CPAs.
  • Manage and drive specific “front of mind” campaigns to specific target groups as designed by senior sales team (direct to portfolio, investment banks, CPA, lenders, etc.).
  • Conduct research and actionable business intelligence on Suspects and Legitimate Prospects that supports existing strategies to help close new opportunities.
  • Support the generation of CBIZ CMF qualifications and the development of proposals.
  • Diligently maintain Salesforce which includes tracking of all important activities and updates.
  • Track and report on specific campaigns, project plans, and accountability.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and
  • 2-4 years of professional experience in a sales/marketing and administrative related role
  • Experience in communicating with C suite executives
  • Adept at juggling multiple priorities and deadlines without sacrificing quality
  • Superior oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Internship experience preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization, both internally and externally
  • Proficient use of applicable technology
  • Must be able to travel based on client and business needs
