CBIZ is looking for a HR Data and Reporting Specialist to join our Kansas City office. The HR Information Specialist functions as a data steward of information focused on data quality and regular data management. This is a data centric position and the incumbent must be with comfortable handling data and possess the knowledge to efficiently handle large amounts of data on a daily basis through report requests and other data management processes.

Essential Functions and Primary Duties:

  • Builds strong working relationships and partnerships with HR business partners, HR Shared Services team, recruiters, leadership, business stakeholders and executives on best practices to support and improve the quality of information in HR systems.
  • Manages routine system administration and table updates within the HRIS.
  •  Confirms the accuracy and integrity of data in the HRIS, Applicant Tracking System, LMS and other data sources through regular data audits.  Coordinates and/or performs data clean-up as required.
  • Assists in the development, administration, maintenance and modification of HR processes, procedures and guidelines, working closely with the HCM Analyst, HR Compliance Analyst, Payroll and other HR key stakeholders
  • Maintains up to date documentation processes and procedures.
  • Participates in the planning and testing for system upgrades, patches and other configuration updates
  • Maintains standard reports, audit reports and dashboards within Oracle HCM.
  • Communicates and trains affected users and advises management on new technical developments, processes and procedures.
  • Troubleshoots and reports to vendor and IT technical issues.
  • Supports HR department data and reporting needs through the regular completion of reporting requests.  
  • Interacts regularly with peers in IT, Finance and other parts of CBIZ to ensure data needs are met across the business
  • May lead and complete ad hoc projects as assigned.
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned

Preferred Requirements:

  • A total of 3-years combine experience with HR, HRIS, data analysis and reporting role
  • Must be able to work in a team environment
  • Experience with Taleo Business Edition and/or Oracle HCM Cloud a plus
  • Experience learning and creating reports from scratch using tools such as Oracle HCM OTBI/OBIEE, Power BI helpful, or equivalent experience with a comparable reporting software
  • Ability to examine and understand of data relationships across systems
  • Strong technical aptitude and the ability to understand technical documentation preferred

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 3 Years of experience as a subject matter expert
  • Must maintain current required licenses and certifications relevant to field of expertise
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization, both internally and externally
  • Effective customer service skills
  • Proficient use of applicable technology
  • Ability to work in team environment as well as independently
  • Ability to analyze and prioritize multiple responsibilities
