Essential Functions & Primary Duties

  • Process HSA, QME, and flexible spending claims in accordance with IRS rules and regulations and also in accordance with the terms and conditions of the plan
  • Handle participant inquiries regarding claims and spending rules and regulations
  • Audit participant records to assure proper administration of flexing spending, HSA, and QME accounts
  • Process and run participant payments along with a detailed spending report
  • Mail or process direct deposit weekly HSA and flexible spending payments to participants in a timely manner in accordance with the clients’ agreements
  • Set up direct deposit accounts
  • Attend meetings regarding claims processing procedures
  • Proactive and responsive resolution of client issues in a quick, friendly and efficient manner
  • Create and furnish monthly reports as requested from time to time
  • Support Service Center staff and advise them of the ongoing status of client issues via emails and case updates
  • Other tasks and duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

  • BA/BS Degree preferred or minimum of 3+ years of work experience (Medical, Dependent Care, Parking, Transit, HRA and HSA claims processing preferred)
  • Project positive, professional attitude with excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Works independently and with minimal supervision
  • Self-starter willing to take initiative to help organize and improve operations
  • Able to prioritize and manage multiple competing responsibilities
  • Show initiative including anticipating needs, suggesting improvements, and follow-up on work items
  • Proficient in Windows and Microsoft programs with excellent navigational skills
  • Detail-oriented with organizational skills
  • Will be trusted to secure and maintain confidential information
