About the Role

The Executive Recruiter is responsible for identifying and qualifying top performing financial executives in the Private Equity space for our retained search practice. This role will work closely with the team’s search leaders to function as the primary point person for all candidate interaction throughout the interview process.

Essential Functions and Primary Duties:

  • Drive the full life cycle recruitment process for senior finance leader needs, primarily CFO/Financial Leader roles.
  • Uses position/project need specifications to develop a focused sourcing and recruiting strategy. Continually refines strategy based on market or client feedback.
  • Collaborates with research and other recruiting team members to identify prospective candidates through targeted company research, industry sources, relevant prior searches and internal sources.
  • Conducts in-depth interviews to further assess candidate qualifications and fit to position specifications.
  • On an ongoing basis, builds strong relationships and good rapport with clients, candidates, and sources in order to stay aware of talent and the marketplace.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of executive recruiting experience in a search firm environment
  • Experienced in developing sourcing strategy and recruiting plans
  • Experienced/trained in behavioral interviewing and candidate evaluation
  • Ability to develop strong relationships with candidates, with high client service orientation
  • Financial talent recruiting experience preferred

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field
  • 2 years of relevant work experience
  • Must possess analytical skills
  • Must be able to work in a team environment
  • Proficient use of applicable technology
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization, both internally and externally
