CBIZ has an excellent full-time opportunity as a Senior Consultant starting immediately for someone with approximately 5+ years of previous commercial credit analysis experience in our Credit Risk Advisory Group based in Plymouth Meeting, Pennsylvania.  We offer a competitive salary and benefits and the opportunity to further develop your credit and risk knowledge and experience.

The position requires a motivated and organized self-starter who possesses superior verbal and written communication skills.  The ideal candidate must be proficient in the standard Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and comfortable in most software systems, specifically financial statement spreading software, as well as learning and navigating third-party platforms, as necessary.  Credit Risk Consultants can have significant exposure to clients and their senior management so excellent interpersonal skills (in-person, on the telephone, email, and all communication methods) are essential.

In addition to solid commercial credit analysis and underwriting expertise, this person will need to have a strong understanding of basic accounting concepts and will possess deep financial analysis skills.  The position supports members of the Credit Risk team on existing and new relationships.  The ideal candidate must be able to handle multiple tasks/projects under tight time constraints and manage quick turnaround cycles with minimal oversight.  The position will also have to report to various team leaders for multiple concurrent projects.

This position may have to travel up to one week per month (25%) to assist as a team member on the various due diligence field examination projects for our clients.

Essential Functions and Primary Duties:
• Independently review and analyze businesses and companies from a credit perspective

• Insightful written commercial credit analysis for client requests

• Financial spreading of company financials from 10K reports, financial statements, and tax returns

• Verify large volumes of client data at a fast pace with accuracy for certain monthly projects

• Preparation of analyses and reports in a quick, complete, accurate and efficient manner

• Provide day-to-day support for various administrative activities, as necessary

• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time (one week) on a monthly basis may be necessary

Minimum Qualifications :

• Strong financial analysis and commercial credit skills of both public and private companies

• Experience having calculated and performed personal and global cash flow analysis is helpful

• Strong organizational, and written/oral communication skills

• Interpersonal maturity, confidence, and poise

• BS/BA degree with 5+ year’s previous commercial banking or commercial credit analysis experience

• High level of proficiency and expertise in Microsoft Excel spreadsheets

• Basic understanding of computer systems and common platforms

• Ability to work independently in a team environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Formal commercial credit analysis training in basic credit concepts is helpful
