CBIZ Risk & Advisory Services is looking for a highly motivated individual with excellent analytical skills, communication skills, and attention to detail. The Construction Cost Review Associate position will be responsible for maintaining and analyzing construction cost data and databases. The Associate position will be required to communicate effectively with clients as well as management and have a willingness to learn with respect to Construction and Accounting industry subject matter.

Essential Functions and Primary Duties:

  • Support Construction Cost Review Manager in analyzing construction project costs
  • Analyze and review construction contracts, project budgets and project costs
  • Organize construction cost databases
  • Communicate and respond to client requests
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned

Minimum Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master degree preferred
  • Internship experience in accounting, finance or related field preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal, analytical, research skills
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization, both internally and externally
  • Ability to multi-task, think independently and problem solve in a results driven team oriented environment
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills
  • Strong computer and technical skills including, Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, intranet and software
  • Must be able to travel based on client and business needs
