The CBIZ Client Solutions Consultant is responsible for providing a connection between Sales Producers and Operations while supporting Producers through the Sales process.

Essential Functions and Primary Duties: 

  • Provide national Sales Producers support to assist in their sales cycle
    • Create and conduct effective multi-media remote demonstrations and training of payroll, timekeeping, hiring and onboarding, HRIS, and others as applicable for Producer’s prospects or current clients considering another CBIZ service through webinars and videos
    • Provide solutions to Sales Producer in response to any pending prospect questions following any demonstration.
    • Provide training on how to demonstrate these services to Sales new hires for their ability to provide demonstrations on their own
    • Monthly outbound calls to current clients regarding services
    • Verify technical accuracy of documentation and ensure it conforms to company standards.
    • Communicate Producers questions to appropriate Operations staff regarding processes or service capabilities and provide answers to Producers
    • Provide system updates and feature enhancement details to Sales Producers
    • Provide RFP support and guidance to producers
    • Review articles on Salesforce Knowledge Base to confirm accuracy or request updates as needed
  • Participate in on-boarding of new Sales Producers
  • Works closely with HCM Sales Directors to determine topics to present on monthly Sales Producer’s call regarding services offered, updates/changes to pricing, and process flow.
  • Work with Sales Management to identify training gaps and schedule appropriate remote training webinars
  • Serve as support regarding quoting system within Salesforce
  • Relay client requests for additional core service opportunities to appropriate Sales Producer
  • Support overall sales support functions
  • Ability to periodically offer support for West Coast sales team past 5pm EST
  • Work in collaboration with your peers across the business and the client base to identify the best practice solution for specific and often unique situations
  • Allocate time and prioritize accordingly across several projects
  • Perform other duties as assigned

 Preferred Qualifications:

  • Working level knowledge of payroll processes
  • Must possess analytical skills
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization, both internally and externally
  • Ability to coordinate and communicate with clients and team members at various levels of management both internally and externally to resolution of issues
  • Willingness and ability to troubleshoot complex problems independently and dynamically

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 1 year of experience in related field
  • Must be able to work in a team environment
  • Presentation skills mandatory
  • Proficient use of applicable technology
  • Must be able to travel based on client and business needs
