Essential Functions and Primary Dutes

  • Support clients utilizing Microsoft Dynamics GP, NAV/Business Central, CRM, 365 and Sage 100 in addition to related business intelligence tools and software including Microsoft SQL Server, SSRS, Excel, Power BI, SharePoint, JetReports, etc.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance over the phone, email or ticketing system.
  • Perform remote troubleshooting and provide top-level support to customers in multiple industries.
  • Communicate efficiently and effectively with customers and other staff members.
  • Educate and train customers on standard or customized processes within applications.
  • Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel.
  • Work with technical and functional consultants on your team to provide enhancements to customer applications.
  • Maintain high quality of work products.
  • Manage multiple job duties through efficient task management.
  • Routinely follow-up and update customer status and information.
  • Spot recurring technical issues and work with the team to deploy solutions to address the root of the problems.
  • Log all support requests in the case management software.
  • Help maintain and update client management and case management software.
  • Document all resolutions for internal staff and for client reference.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with or ability to learn and use HTML/JavaScript/CSS, SQL, .NET, Visual Studio, Teamwork Foundation Server, Git and other related technologies.• Experience with or ability to learn and use object-oriented programming.
  • Some experience in software development, technical application support, or related field. 
  • Experience with Business Systems ERP/CRM
  • Understanding of basic business workflows and accounting processes
  • Experience with XML/JSON and Web Services


Qualifications Required

  • High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred in related field
  • 1-3 years of experience in related field
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Must be able to work in a team environment
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Windows and Windows Server (XP/2003 forward), VPN connectivity, remote support applications, RDP sessions and other computer technologies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
