CBIZ Retirement Plan Services (CBIZ RPS) is the largest Investment Advisor in the Cleveland, OH area and provides institutional consulting solutions to corporations, public entities, and non-profit organizations.  We primarily consult with companies on their 401(k), 403(b), or defined benefit pension plans, specializing in investment management, investment consulting, as well as compliance and design.  In total, CBIZ RPS consults on approximately $13 billion in assets, and our clients range from large multinational publicly-traded companies to small businesses. Essential Functions and Primary Duties

  • Handles recurring, defined tasks for DB Administration
  • Ability to identity causes, analyze data, and resolve issues of pension problems
  • Working knowledge of benefit administration principles, employee benefit rules, regulations and technology 
  • Exercise judgement in accordance with policy, procedures and techniques 
  • Run, analyze, and process various bi-monthly and monthly pension benefit reports
  • Processing of benefit payments including data entry and review
  • Maintain data system 
  • Prepare routine termination and retirement packages for mailings 
  • Analyze returned election forms and prepare routine correspondence when necessary 
  • Support of routine operational administrative processes and deliverables 
  • Support of audit functions 
  • Maintenance of electronic and paper client records 
  • Other duties as required
  • Ability to organize, set priorities and complete multiple processes within established deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's preferred

Qualifications Required

  • High School Diploma or GED 
  • Zero to two years of relevant work experience in benefits administration
  • Proficient use of applicable technology
  • Advanced computer skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Experience with digital data management/filling system is an asset
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deliverables simultaneously
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills and use of grammar
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to adapt to a changing environment
  • Ability to follow standard procedures
  • Ability to work cooperatively with others
  • Ability to build relationships and trust with internal and external clients and other key stakeholders
