Essential Functions and Primary Duties

  • Working with team members within the audit group to help in the process of editing, formatting, revising and preparing audit reports and/or financial statements
  • Using a variety of innovative software technologies and programs, this individual will accurately prepare electronic and hard copies of various business documents, which may include invoices, reports, memos, letters, financial statements, spreadsheets and presentations with a meticulous attention to detail and in an efficient and deadline-oriented manner
  • Communicate regularly with audit department leaders/staff in order to ensure timely and accurate audit projects are prepared to the correct specifications
  • Proofread, edit, prepare and finalize financial statements and audit reports
  • Read and analyze incoming memos, submissions, mail and reports to determine significance; plan distribution
  • Perform project work
  • File and retrieve documents, records, and reports
  • Perform general office duties such as ordering supplies, maintaining records management systems, and performing basic bookkeeping work
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience editing, formatting, revising and preparing audit reports and/or financial statements

Minimum Qualifications Required

  • High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 2 years of experience in office environment and preferably performing as an administrative assistant
  • Must have knowledge of administrative procedures
  • Proficient use of applicable technology
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization, both internally and externally
