As an Analyst/Associate, you will work closely with senior management on projects relating to acquisitions and divestitures. You will work within a close-knit team to develop growth strategies, support acquisitions, and analyze financial performance.

Essential Functions and Primary Duties:

  • Provide support to the Vice Presidents – Corporate Development in sourcing and evaluating new acquisition opportunities

  • Participate in corporate strategic plan development with the senior management team

  • Support the corporate development group’s efforts in project and transaction execution which includes industry and company research, business case development, financial modeling and analysis, detailed due diligence, and transaction deal management

  • Analyze market segments, market trends, growth, competitive developments, and potential partners and acquisition targets to provide sound recommendations to the senior Corporate Development team

  • Prepare and analyze business cases for new business opportunities

  • Develop pro forma financial analysis for all new acquisitions

  • Support integration planning, along with other business and functional personnel

  • Assist in tracking and reporting on the status of strategic initiatives activities and pipeline

  • Additional responsibilities as assigned

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or finance, or related field

  • 3 years of experience in Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) or a related field with a focus on corporate development

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of the organization, both internally and externally

  • Proficient use of applicable technology (Microsoft Word and Excel)

  • Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently

  • Ability to analyze and prioritize multiple responsibilities

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Able to handle high level of confidentiality

  • Travel requirements: variable based on deal process, but likely less than 20%
