CBIZ ARC Consulting helps organizations address a wide range of issues around complex technical accounting, financial reporting and other related requirements. Our professionals assist clients with their efforts to meet financial reporting requirements, including the preparation of financial statement and regulatory filings, and the application and implementation of complex accounting standards for U.S. GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards). Our practice combines our knowledge and experience in the areas of financial reporting, risk management, and compliance to help address our clients' most important issues. Essential Functions & Primary Duties

The paid internship program exposes interns to a variety of accounting issues, industry sectors and opportunities within a growing firm.

• Experience challenging and relevant assignments, while working directly with CBIZ ARC Consulting directors, managers, seniors and staff. Practice our commitment to client service as you execute responsibilities and gain insight into the professional services sector.
• Contribute to a strong client relationship through interactions with client personnel.
• Understand engagement as it relates to client's business.
• Deliver services that meet CBIZ ARC Consulting standards of excellence.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Accounting, Taxation or related field preferred
• Active participation in student organizations or work experience in accounting or a related field is a plus, but not required

Minimum Qualifications

• Working towards a Bachelor's degree

• Excellent interpersonal, analytical, research and tax project management skills, including knowledge of GAAP, Taxation compliance, codes and regulations

• Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of the organization, both internally and externally

• Ability to multi-task, think independently and problem solve in a results driven team oriented environment

• Strong verbal and written communications skills

• Strong computer and technical skills including, Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, intranet and audit software

Pay Transparency: 

The hourly rate for this job in this market is $35.00-36.00. The specific compensation for this role will be determined based on the education, experience, and skill set of the individual selected for this position.
