ARC Consulting helps organizations address a wide range of issues around complex technical accounting, financial reporting and other related requirements. Our professionals assist clients with their efforts to meet financial reporting requirements, including the preparation of financial statement and regulatory filings, and the application and implementation of complex accounting standards for U.S. GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards). Essential Functions and Primary Duties:

The paid internship program exposes interns to a variety of accounting issues, industry sectors and opportunities within a growing firm.

  • Experience challenging and relevant assignments, while working directly with ARC Consulting directors, managers, seniors and staff. Practice our commitment to client service as you execute responsibilities and gain insight into the professional services sector.
  • Contribute to a strong client relationship through interactions with client personnel.
  • Understand engagement as it relates to client's business.
  • Deliver services that meet ARC Consulting standards of excellence.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Active participation in student organizations or work experience in accounting or a related field
  • Excellent interpersonal, analytical, research, including basic knowledge of GAAP and GAAS rules, procedures and standards
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization, both internally and externally
  • Ability to multi-task, think independently and problem solve in a results driven team oriented environment
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills
  • Use of a vehicle to travel to clients within the San Francisco Bay area

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Working towards a Bachelors or Master’s degree
  • Strong computer and technical skills including, Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, intranet and accounting software
