Job Purpose/Objective


Wellbeing Account Executives function in a client advisory and strategic role in the development and delivery of Wellbeing Solutions. The work is performed in close partnership with the Account Executive to integrate the account team, carrier, client, Wellbeing coordinator, and programming vendors on matters relating to the Wellbeing program. Supports the field (both producers and client services) in the presentation and implementation of CBIZ Wellbeing Solutions to clients.
Maintains and enhances the firm’s relationships with existing clients by assessing needs, recommending and developing strategic plans and resources, and monitoring ongoing initiatives.

We are open to this professional sitting remotely but they must occasionally travel to visit clients in the mid-Atlantic region in Maryland and Pennsylvania. We prefer to hire a candidate in the Mid-Atlantic region near these clients.  

Essential Functions and Primary Duties

  • Build and maintain client relationships, meeting specified client retention goals.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of the client's business and strategic priorities.
  • Develop and execute clients' Wellbeing strategies and solutions, including incentive design and interventions.
  • Develop subject matter expertise in the area of health transformation, health promotion and wellness.
  • Develop knowledge of best practices and market trends and contribute to the development of and enhancement of new and existing product and services.
  • Provide project support on targeted clients/prospects including data analysis, strategy design and development, vendor selection, and implementation, measurement, and engagement/communication approach.
  • Support the delivery team to disseminate processes, tools, and services to markets.
  • Assist in the preparation of client presentations.

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Master's Degree in Public Health 
  • Experience managing clients and executing clients' wellbeing strategies 
  • Must be willing to travel to meet clients in person

Minimum Qualifications Required

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Up to 6 years of experience managing multiple clients of increasing complexity in the insurance industry, with experience in developing and implementing worksite Wellbeing strategies.
  • Demonstrated experience managing projects.
  • Must maintain current required licenses and certifications relevant to the field of expertise.
  • Expert knowledge of state and federal legislation.
  • Sets priorities and manages workflow to ensure efficient, timely, and accurate deliverables.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of the organization, both internally and externally.
  • Advanced problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Must be able to travel based on client and business needs.
