Valuations lie at the heart of most major business transactions - from mergers and acquisitions, to financial reporting, tax valuation, and litigation. Complex regulations and valuation methodologies can make determining objective, comprehensive valuations no easy feat. That is where we come in.

We have a depth of expertise working with the full range of industries and asset types. Our comprehensive services address the gamut of valuation needs you may encounter during the course of the business life cycle, including financial valuation, litigation support, tangible assets appraisals, machinery and equipment valuation, and real estate valuation. We leverage our national resources to ensure you have quality, thorough information you need when you need it.

The Valuation Intern will work alongside the Business Development team to assist and understand how the team wins new clients and expands relationships with existing clients – pursuing sales opportunities with the objective of winning new business.

Essential Functions and Primary Duties:

• To provide support to a variety of projects to gain a better understanding of CBIZ business operations 
• Work with local office leadership and the Director of Business Development to support and learn about different sales strategies for different territories
• Assist with the development of different reports on sales activity
• Coordinate with the Client Service group to learn about sales campaigns under the direction of the Director of Business Development
• Work with local and regional leadership to identify pursuit team members and client relationship owners

Preferred Qualifications:

• You are currently enrolled in a bachelors program studying a form a business  You enjoy working in a team environment.
• You have basic Microsoft Office skills
• You have time management skills and the ability to multi-task
• You are interested in the Accounting, Tax, Insurance or Human Resource Industry

Minimum Qualifications:

• You must be at least 16 years old (or a work permit, if required)
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Working towards a Bachelor's degree
• No experience is required
