Job Purpose / Objective:


CBIZ, Inc. is seeking a Treasury Senior Analyst/Manager in our Corporate Office reporting to the Treasurer.  This position will be responsible for providing daily treasury oversight, along with leadership of treasury projects and analytical support for Treasury and Accounts Payable, and back up support for all Treasury processes. 


Essential Functions and Primary Duties:


•    Oversee daily cash position determination and borrowing and investment decisions.
•    Obtain knowledge of all functions within Treasury, and related accounting and controls.  Perform primary back-up role for Cash Specialist on critical activities.  
•    Assume lead role in Treasury related projects to improve efficiency in Treasury and operations of the Company.  Projects include (but are not limited to) cash account realignment, cash accounting simplification / automation, cash application automation, lockbox consolidation, payment processing technology, etc.  
•    Review / oversight of custodial and operating bank accounts, including site visits/ process reviews, review of reconciliations, documentation and analysis of process/bank controls and assessment of proper segregation of duties.  
•    Assist with acquisition integrations 
•    Liaison with bank relationships, including leading annual reviews and implementation of account changes.  Lead continual account control review efforts and entitlements reviews.
•    Identify, implement and maintain new payment solutions/processes, including client payment portals
•    Analyze and benchmark bank fees.  Formulate observations and, where applicable, recommendations for improvements.
•    Become proficient on credit facility / prepare quarterly compliance certificate and monitor company’s compliance with credit facility.
•    Oversee PCI compliance and other regulatory compliance related concerns (NACHA, privacy, other).
•    Coordinate process for Unclaimed Property, ensuring compliance with policies and appropriate documentation.
•    Create, prepare and analyze metrics related to Treasury and Accounts Payable, including reports to identify spend anomalies related to T&E.  
•    Preparation and analysis of semi-annual P-card audit.  
•    Assist in the analysis and forecasting of cash flows, debt and interest expense.  
•    Lead ongoing improvement projects within Treasury.
•    Assist in the preparation of quarterly board presentation materials.
•    Adhere to ethics and employee code of conduct policies 
•    Review activities within job scope for sufficient controls to prevent errors and misstatements of financial results
•    Additional responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications Required:


•    Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance / MBA preferred / CTP preferred
•    5 years experience in Accounting, Finance or Treasury
•    Functional knowledge of general accounting, cash processes, receivables and payables processes and cash controls
•    Basic knowledge and understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and SOX compliance
•    Proficient in Excel and Word 
•    Proficient in dashboard / reporting technology (Power BI, etc.)
•    Experience with Treasury Workstations and Cash Management technology a plus.
•    Proficient use of applicable technology; Oracle knowledge a plus
•    Demonstrated ability to professionally communicate both verbally and in writing with all levels of an organization, both internally and externally
•    Highly organized with strong analytical skills
•    Strong attention to detail / accuracy
•    Ability to meet strict deadlines
•    Ability to travel as required by business
