Essential Functions and Primary Duties

• Prepare and review tax provisions pursuant to ASC740.
• Provide tax provision and compliance services for a variety of corporate, multi-national, consolidated/combined, and multi-state tax clients as a member of the final engagement review team to ensure quality control standards are met, on-time and on-budget.
• In this leadership role, you will have the opportunity to utilize your technical tax, tax accounting, audit, analytical, operational, management, and client service skills while helping organizations grow.
• Serve as client’s trusted advisor, demonstrates knowledge of industry trends, identify client issues and conflicts; proactively communicate solution options to client and team.
• Demonstrate proficient technical skills for handling all client responsibilities, including knowledge of trends, industries, alternatives, etc.
• Understand the client’s organization, procedures, and internal policies.
• Understanding your clients’ goals and needs and servicing clients directly.
• Owning client relationships and work.
• Strategizing with Managing Directors regarding planning.
• Provide clients with recommendations and guidance on how to achieve their goals and assist in identifying opportunities for growth with clients.
• Researching tax and accounting issues and providing guidance to clients.
• Working closely with staff, and assisting senior management in mentoring, coaching, training, supervising, and evaluating staff.
• Foster a team environment; demonstrates support of management and decisions and build a positive culture.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree preferred in Accounting, Taxation, or related field

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred in Accounting, Finance or relevant field
• 7 years experience in public accounting or related field
• 5 years supervisory
• Must have and preserve required licenses 
• Ability to manage deadlines, work on multiple assignments and prioritize each assignment as necessary
• Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization, both internally and externally
• Proficient use of applicable technology
• Must be able to travel based on business needs

The annual salary target for this job in this market is $140,000 - $200,000. The specific compensation for this role will be determined based on the education, experience, and skill set of the individual selected for this position.
