Essential Functions and Primary Duties


•       Relevant experience working with publicly traded companies, or experience with ASC 740


•       Oversee, train, and assist associate team members


•       Able and willing to work at client location when needed


•       Meet time restraints and deadlines


•       Assist with the preparation of the global or domestic interim and year-end tax provision


•       Lead person in charge of of  tax provision workbook and tax provision  software


•       Prepare tax account reconciliation


•       Gather data and prepare schedules for tax and financial statement auditors


•       Preparation of all federal, foreign, and state tax returns


•       Assist in gathering data and preparing schedules to be used in preparing tax returns


•       Prepare quarterly and year end estimates


•       Begin to build and develop quality relationships with clients


•       Gather data necessary to respond to audits and inquiries by governmental authorities.


•       Become proficient at tax research


•       Assist with other projects as necessary


•       Technical knowledge of income tax accounting standards and application of  ASC 740


•       Experience with public company financial statement audits


•       Familiarity with ProSystem fx tax compliance software, One Source Tax Provision, or other comparable resources.


•       Strong written, verbal communication and presentation skills


•       Positive attitude, good work ethic, and able to prioritize multiple tasks

 

Minimum Requirements


•       Bachelor’s degree required


•       CPA, J.D. or Enrolled Agent license or progress towards license


•       3 years of work experience in public accounting or a large multinational company


•       1 year of supervisory experience


•       Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization, both internally and externally


•       Proficient use of applicable technology


•       Must be able to travel based on client and business needs

The annual salary target for this job in this market is $85,000-$130,000. The specific compensation for this role will be determined based on the education, experience, and skill set of the individual selected for this position.
