Essential Functions and Primary Duties:

• Prepare assorted state and federal tax credit documents for Kansas, Missouri and various other states
• Research various legislative changes and updates in the states for which they are responsible
• Master all Kansas and Missouri core tax credit programs and be responsible for a portion of tax credit programs in other states
• Be responsible for managing a variety of clients and ensure that all paperwork is completed in order to maximize the benefit for the client
• Prepare state training grants on behalf of clients regarding the training of new employees or the retraining of existing employees
• Identify, research, evaluate and track federal, state and local incentive and tax opportunities
• Experience with multi-state sale, use and income taxes, including sales and use tax refund studies
• Effective communication skill

Preferred Requirements:

•Master’s degree in Accounting, Taxation or related field 

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Must have completed at least one “Busy Season”
• Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization,
both internally and externally
• Proficient use of applicable technology
• Must be able to travel based on client and business needs
