Job Purpose / Objective:

Work as a member of the CBIZ Valuation Group – Tangible Asset Practice client services team providing outstanding service to CBIZ clients in machinery and equipment appraisals and fixed asset reconciliation and tagging.

Essential Functions and Primary Duties 

  • Perform all aspects of client field work including, but not limited to on-site inventories, discussions with plant engineers, asset modeling, and market research, while meeting client objectives as defined in scope of services under the direct supervision of senior consultant or above.
  • Apply area of expertise relative to client engagements and perpetually build knowledge base and thus strengthening area of expertise.
  • Be willing and able to travel extensively throughout the U.S. and internationally.
  • Execute solid analysis, delivering creative and practical solutions for client engagements.
  • Adhere to engagement budgets and complete assigned tasks within the time requested.
  • Maintain systems proficiency to enhance client services delivery.
  • Participate in business development activities to include memberships in qualified organizations (alumni associations, American Society of Appraisers, networking groups, etc.) or regular business contacts with peers capable or eventually capable of referring potential engagements and cross serve opportunities.
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications Preferred

  • A Bachelor's of Science Degree
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license as overnight travel may be required
  • Proficient spreadsheet ability relative to the constructing of complex formulas and macros
  • Proficient writing skills relative to valuation reports and client communications
  • Experience with Excel and Word
  • Presentation skills mandatory

Qualifications Required

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 1 year of relevant experience
  • Must be able to work in a team environment
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization, both internally and externally
  • Proficient use of applicable technology
  • Must be able to travel based on client and business needs
