Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Professional and Technical Abilities:

This person will report directly to the Operations Manager and be responsible for the following duties: 

  • Manage day-to-day scheduling of staff, including the use of our proprietary scheduling software
  • Work collaboratively with senior staff and project managers to develop and maintain weekly staff schedules
  • Assist with resource planning for future engagements, including resolving scheduling conflicts
  • Prepare and maintain internal data regarding project and team characteristics to allow for effective engagement matching
  • Provide reporting to senior staff and project managers on a regular and as-needed basis, including budget vs actuals and resource availability
  • Assist with front-end engagement set-up on an as-needed basis
  • Coordinate and/or assist with ad hoc or special projects assigned by the Operations Manager & Administrative Coordinator

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business
  • 2 to 4 years of prior work experience as staffing coordinator
  • Proficient use of applicable technology (Microsoft Office Suite, Oracle and Concur, Prostaff, and Practice Engine)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Positive “can-do” attitude and willing to “roll up their sleeves”
  • Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work overtime as needed
  • Superior organizational and follow-through skills with attention given to the details and deadlines
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision as well as work cooperatively with all levels of management and employees and contribute as a team member
  • Ability to build relationships and trust with internal and external clients and other key stakeholders
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deliverables simultaneously
  • Ability to operate with a sense of urgency
  • Prior experience in a public accounting or consulting firm is a plus
  • Knowledge of Salesforce CRM

Minimum Qualifications Required

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 3 Years of experience as a subject matter expert
  • Must maintain current required licenses and certifications relevant to field of expertise
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization, both internally and externally
  • Effective customer service skills
  • Proficient use of applicable technology
  • Ability to work in team environment as well as independently
  • Ability to analyze and prioritize multiple responsibilities
