Essential Functions and Primary Duties

  • Position requires extensive client contact
  • Assists clients with inquiries related to account services and customer issues
  • Performs transactions such as:   Asset Transfers, Receive & Deliver (Full/Partial Automated Customer Account Transfer Service 'ACATS' as well as Non-ACAT requests, Free Receives/Delivers, Direct Registration System 'DRS', Deposit or Withdrawal at Custodian 'DWAC', Account to account transfers)
  • Account Servicing such as:
    • Cash Movement (Automated Clearing House 'ACH', Fed wire, Check deposits, Check issuance)
    • Retirement Plan Processing (Contributions, Distributions, Rollovers, Service inquiries)
    • Trade Support (Corrections, Order inquires, trade exception resolution, margin, credit risk)
    • Cost Basis updates/Tax related inquiries
    • Dividend/Corporate Action inquiries
    • Resolving forms/Not-In-Good-Order issues
  • Resolves customer issues through research and resolution
  • Assists with departmental metrics development and distribution
  • Assists with projects and initiatives to improve service offerings and platform support
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED  
  • At least five years of professional, investment experience
  • Possesses advanced knowledge and understanding of industry and professional concepts, principles, practices, and procedures
  • Possesses expert knowledge of pertinent laws, regulations and professional standards
  • Expert use of applicable technology
  • Proficient use of MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and enterprise communication and travel solutions (Concur, Skype)
  • Experience performing work that requires initiative and leadership skills
  • Experience in coaching and teaching others 
  • Ability to anticipate and elicit customer needs
  • Ability to self-learn and develop business and technical knowledge quickly 
  • Motivated team player with demonstrated interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable working with quick turnaround times and deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with individuals at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to travel as necessary
