Essential Functions and Primary Duties

• Search for potential customers, clients, or buyers in order to develop new business
• Research potential customers and determine the quality of the lead
• Identify the gatekeeper* and the decision maker**
• Evaluate and qualify needs
• Orchestrate sales discussions between producers and decision makers
• Document findings in customer relationship management (CRM) software

*The gatekeeper is person in charge of communicating or preventing information from reaching the decision maker.
**The decision maker is the person in charge of making the final decision on the sale.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Insurance and Risk Management or related field  

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• At least 1 year of sales and customer service experience
• Advanced verbal and written communication skills
• Advanced organizational and time management skills
• Advanced research skills
• High attention to detail
• Self-Motivated
• Goal Oriented

The estimated rate of pay for this job is $50,000 – 70,000/year base salary plus commission, which may vary based on education, experience, geographic location, or other job-related factors.
