Job Purpose/Objective

  • Create interest in CBIZ services and convert interest into a sales meeting
  • Create highly relevant sales opportunities for CBIZ Employee Benefit Consultants

Essential Functions and Primary Duties

  • Search for potential customers, clients, or buyers in order to develop new business
  • Research potential customers and determine the quality of the lead
  • Identify the gatekeeper (person in charge of communicating or preventing information from reached decision -maker) and the decision-maker (the person in charge of making the final decision on the sale.)
  • Evaluate and qualify needs
  • Orchestrate sales discussions between producers and decision-makers
  • Document findings in customer relationship management (CRM) software
  • Promote content on social media
  • Leverage sales cadence technology for an organized approach to a large number of prospects.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • At least 1 year of sales and customer service experience
  • Advanced verbal and written communication skills
  • Advanced organizational and time management skills
  • Advanced research skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Self-Motivated
  • Goal-Oriented
