Essential Functions and Primary Duties

  • Business partner, trusted advisor, and thought partner for regional business line and service line leadership.  Develop a broad knowledge and understanding of the company’s business practices in order to help guide the company to achieve profitable growth.
  • Oversee and assist in the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements.  Establish and enforce corporate accounting policies and principles in accordance with GAAP/SOX.
  • Principal supervisor and leader of Financial and Accounting matters for regional accounting team.  Oversee financial and accounting functions, including SOX related internal controls.
  • Present and communicate critical financial and operational information to Business Line Leadership.  Partner with Senior Managing Director(s) in the establishment and evaluation of short term goals and longer term strategic financial objectives. 
  • Drive development of annual budget and monthly forecast through partnership with local operational leadership, service line leaders, and chief operating officers.
  • Develop, maintain, distribute, and explain key operational metrics and dashboards to business line leadership, partnering with Project Management Office (PMO) regarding best practices and enhanced use of existing data and technology.
  • Develop, implement and enforce fiscal policies and practices for the organization that are efficient and consistent with the company’s SEC reporting requirements and internal accounting policies as determined by the Corporate Controller. 
  • Develop, build and mentor a solid regional accounting team that can build and prepare efficient and sustainable budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, risk management, SOX controls, and reporting of key business metrics.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Extensive knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to direct and supervise
  • Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Experience in a service business
  • CPA Preferred

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 10+ years of relevant work experience
  • Must possess analytical skills
  • Proficient use of applicable technology
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing with all levels of an organization
  • Ability to travel as required by business
