Our office in Cleveland, OH is home to the Corporate Headquarters of CBIZ, Inc. We currently have a position available in our Corporate Office for a Receptionist/Administrative Assistant to answer phones, greet guests, and communicate with persons outside of the organization.

Essential Functions and Primary Duties:

  • Answer calls and emails efficiently and courteously providing requested information
  • Forward calls to voicemail if caller requests
  • Greet visitors, determine nature of visit and direct or escort visitor to destination
  • Schedule appointments and conference rooms, assist with catering
  • Assist with mail distribution and back up to our Mail Room Clerk
  • Receive payment and record receipts for services
  • Provide information about establishment such as location of departments, offices, and employees and services
  • Transmit information or documents to provided customers using computer, mail or fax
  • FedEx Administrator and take care of FedEx for the office as needed
  • Provide supplemental administrative support and back up admins as needed
  • Work on projects as they come up
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED required
  • 1 year of experience in an office setting preferred
  • Positive customer service skills
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization, both internally and externally
  • Must provide positive customer service internally and to visitors
  • Attention to detail, time management and ability to multi-task
  • Ability to produce business correspondence
  • Proficient in applicable technology (Microsoft Office)
