You will have the knowledge to prepare businesspersonal propety returns for a wide array of clients in a multitude of locations.

Essential Functions and Primary Duties

  • Assist with preparation of personal proerty tax returns, including the completion of general information on forms, creating cost by year schedules, and calculations to arrive at an assessed value
  • communicate with taxing jurisdictions regarding forms, tax bills and notices of value
  • Organize tax work for tax professionals 
  • Manage and update the tax database (calendar, reports, etc)
  • MOnitor and organize tax forms, bills and notices of value
  • Electronically store all completed and filed returns by clients 
  • Utilize Access Database to update tax calendar and tax reports 
  • Prepare a personal property tax return from start to finish which includes reviewing the fixed assets, identifying adds and disposals, creating necessary schedules and reconciling to prior year
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Bachelor’s Degree or two years of experience on a specialized subject matter
  • Must maintain current required licenses and certifications relevant to field of expertise
  • Demonstrates the ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization, both internally and externally
  • Effective customer service skills
  • Proficient use of applicable technology
  • Ability to work in team environment as well as independently
  • Ability to analyze and prioritize multiple responsibilities
