Position Summary

An internship in Property & Casualty provides both a learning opportunity and valuable hands-on experience working in an insurance brokerage firm. This position will assist in preparing client materials and serve as a resource to a client service team. This position will interact with various team members, our carrier partners, and some of our valuable clients.

Essential Functions and Primary Duties  

  • Support the creation of  marketing and sales materials
  • Conduct market analysis and research
  • Assist in the creation of client materials
  • Provide support to social media efforts
  • Work closely with producers networking and developing leads
  • Meet with prospective and existing clients
  • Conduct sales presentation with the intent of selling an insurance product
  • Offer innovative solutions
  • Provide support to the client service team
  • Ensure timeframes and deliverables are met
  • Perform all other duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications:

  • You enjoy working in a team environment
  • You have basic Microsoft Office skills
  • You have time management skills and the ability to multi-task
  • You are interested in the Insurance Industry 

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma
  • In pursuit of a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a field associated with the CBIZ business models
  • Must be able to work in a team environment
  • Active participation in student organizations and work experience in related field a plus
