CBIZ is seeking a Payroll and Accounts Payable Coordinator in our Cleveland office. This position is responsible for performing payroll and accounts payable processing in an accurate, thorough and confidential manner for business units.

Essential Functions and Primary Duties:

• Input data into software within required deadlines accurately

• Record necessary changes/updates as appropriate

• Ensure all internal controls and procedures are followed for accuracy

• Assist Specialist with customer service needs according to commitments and standards set forth by the department

• Work to understand new department processes, procedures and/or programs

• Effectively operate all department equipment

• Assist internal and external clients with requests and problems in a timely manner

• Assist Accounts Payable department with invoice processing and other responsibilities as needed

• Additional responsibilities as assigned

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree 

• Excellent customer relation skills

• Acute detail and accuracy skills 

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED 

• Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization, both internally and externally

• Proficient use of applicable technology

• Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently
