CBIZ is seeking an experienced IT professional to fill an Oracle Cloud Application Administrator position in our Independence, OH office.  This associate will perform technical and analytical functions in the development, implementation, and support of the organization’s Oracle Cloud applications.

We are seeking a systems administrator experienced in SaaS Application configuration and management, user interface customization, data importing, data analysis, reporting, and high level application support security on the Oracle Cloud application platform.  Experience with SaaS application implementation, configuration, and data extraction and integration would be ideal.  Candidate must be a self-starter with experience working in a configuration / support troubleshooting role.  Candidate should possess strong communication skills, superior logic skills, problem solving skills, and be comfortable working both independently and as a part of a team.

This position will be part of the Corporate Application and Data Services team, which is responsible for managing a portfolio of applications, while working with the business to provide solutions to complex business problems, create operational efficiencies, automate processes, and provide business intelligence reporting.  This associate will work with, and will be assisted by, developers already on the team.  We have a terrific work environment with a culture of work/life balance. Essential Functions and Primary Duties

  • Administer Oracle Cloud HCM and Cloud ERP modules
  • Security Administration: Configuration and implementation of custom application roles and data access for users of the Oracle Cloud platform
  • Participate in systems configuration/implementation (Analysis, Requirements, Configuration, Testing, Deployment, Maintenance) for HR and ERP related functionality on the Oracle Cloud platform
  • Develop and test new workflows and maintain/update existing workflows (ie, Manager and Employee Self Service, Procurement, Invoice, and Journal Approvals)
  • Apply knowledge of rules configuration, approval types, BPM worklist and transaction console, approvals and alert notifications to support users
  • Perform configuration changes in the application
  • Create, modify, and manage OTBI reports and analytics as well as BI Publisher data models and reports
  • Analyze release notes for upgrades/patches for impacts to functionality, business processes, and user experience
  • Conduct unit testing of application configurations and coordinate user acceptance testing with the business
  • Implement mass data loads using HCM and ERP Data Import tools for large data changes
  • Collaborate with HR, Payroll, Finance and IT to ensure process compliance and understand system interactions to maximize tool efficiency 
  • Provide support and assistance to the development team for existing HR and ERP applications, data integrations, and business processes
  • Identify, document, and clearly articulate to leadership and business partners implications of design, assumptions, constraints, issues, and risks 
  • Manage a workload of project specific and operational support tasks
  • Prepare and maintain application and process documentation
  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned

    • Oracle Cloud HCM and ERP knowledge, configuration, administration, data analysis, data integration (loading and extracting), data model creation and modification, and reporting
    • Oracle Cloud environment data integration, data analysis, and reporting skills/tools: HCM Extracts, BI Publisher, OTBI, HDL, ERP data importing
    • Instance Administration
    • Single Sign-on Administration

Applications and Platforms Familiarity

  • Oracle Cloud HCM and Oracle Cloud ERP configuration and administrative experience
    • Oracle Cloud Workflow functionality (BPM)
    • Oracle Security Console and related administration
    • Oracle Quarterly Update administration and implementation of new functions
    • Oracle Cloud platform UI configuration, including sandbox and page composer functionality

Minimum Qualifications

  • College Degree or equivalent 
  • 3 years related experience
  • Ability to lead and coordinate the team activities of others
  • Proficient use of applicable technology
  • Ability to execute and draft technical instructions and guidelines
  • Ability to document daily activities and system functions
  • Able to work in a team environment
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of an organization, both internally and externally
  • Ability to travel as required by business and on-call availability
