Network Solutions has a Network Support Specialist position available in Maryland Heights, MO. Telephony Network Support Specialists are responsible for providing tiers 2 and 3 telephony and global branch network support for our client offices. The Network Support Specialist works in partnership with other associates, departments, and divisions throughout the firm to seek continuous improvement in streamlining service delivery. 

Essential Functions and Primary Duties:

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical telephony and network problems for client offices.
  • Handle technical problems that can be complex and non-routine. It is not unusual for the Network Support Specialist to handle multiple issues at once.
  • Make decisions with little direct leader supervision.
  • Ability to troubleshoot office carrier-provided data and voice communication circuits.
  • Knowledge of carrier provided features such as voicemail, caller-id, hunt groups, and remote call forwarding.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Information Technology or Engineering preferred or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in telecommunications and networking technologies or experience in a Helpdesk environment with an emphasis on analytical work. Experience in Telephony Operations is highly desirable.
  • Basic experience in support and maintenance of telecommunications systems network including carrier-provided data and voice communication circuits.
