National Recruiting Researcher will help the business scale by identifying top talent for Advisory and Core FS positions.  This position will conduct market research, competitive intelligence and talent mapping to find and engage top talent across the firms’ service lines.

Essential Functions and Primary Duties

  • Conduct research to map markets to determine the best sources of qualified candidates for each assigned market
  • Contribute to the knowledge base of the firms’ recruiting team by providing education on markets, talent pools, profiles
  • Conduct research and cold calling outreach to past applicants by reviewing internal databases and campus resources for current opportunities 
  • Engage and build relationships with candidates, and perform initial dialogue
  • Build out talent networks in certain functions/markets
  • Participate in service line update meetings on active projects and prepare reports
  • Shadow interviews and debriefs
  • Builds a pipeline of passive candidates from a variety of channels (e.g. Applicant Tracking System, LinkedIn, Sourcing Sessions, Events, Social Media, etc.)
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on external market intelligence. Conduct detailed and regular research to regularly share insight on trends in the marketplace, industry information, competitor happenings, and leadership news.
  • Strategically develop target lists of companies and candidates through multiple channels such as internet research, networking, databases, and associations.
  • Establish and maintain meaningful relationships with key cross-functional partners internally (Recruiting counterparts, Corporate HR peers, Diversity teams)
  • Participate in client intake meetings on new search assignments, asking questions and sharing opinions to help shape recruitment strategies.
  • Executing promotional campaigns to produce candidates for consideration using a variety of methodologies: cold calling, emailing, and communicating through professional and Internet/social networks (i.e., LinkedIn and other tools).
  • Measure conversion rates, including numbers of passive candidates who turn into applicants, get invited to interviews, get offers and get hired
  • Develop and maintain referral database from current employees and external networks
  • Maintain candidate databases (e.g. via our Applicant Tracking System- Taleo and Bullhorn)
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned

Minimum Qualifications Required

  • High school diploma or GED 
  • Bachelor’s Degree or two years of experience on a specialized subject matter
  • Demonstrates the ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization, both internally and externally
  • Effective customer service skills
  • Proficient use of applicable technology
  • Ability to work in team environment as well as independently
  • Ability to analyze and prioritize multiple responsibilities
