CBIZ & MHM is currently seeking a highly motivated National Learning and Development Manager. This important role serves within our Financial Services Learning and Development team and includes developing, executing and evaluating learning and development programs that enhance the managerial, business development, and interpersonal skills of our client-facing professionals.  This position reports to the Financial Services Director of Learning and Development.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the design, development, delivery, measurement and reinforcement of learning and development actions focused on building managerial, business development and interpersonal skills and competencies in staff and manager-level professionals
  • Evaluate the impact and effectiveness of existing learning and development programs and methods;  make enhancements to content and delivery methods
  • Identify, engage and develop internal and external subject matter experts in the design, development and delivery of learning content and methods, including reinforcement tools and techniques
  • Engage stakeholders and business unit leaders, including HR business partners, in development tactics and actions, including needs assessment and measurements of impact and effectiveness
  • Review and evaluate applicability of thought leadership and research related to learning and development needs
  • Evaluate vendors and third-party content for application to learning and development programs
  • Provide ongoing support to learning and development program facilitators

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred in Accounting, Organizational Development, Instructional Design, Communication or related field
  • Minimum of 5 - 7 years of experience in learning and development with a focus on instructional design and delivery
  • Demonstrated success in needs assessment, instructional design, curriculum development, group facilitation, program evaluation and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated success in developing learning content for various delivery methods, including classroom, virtual live and self-study
  • Demonstrated experience in adapting content to address a variety of learning styles and preferences, including the use of technology (e.g., online learning, social media), to enable and reinforce learning and application of competencies
  • Demonstrated experience in developing learning focused on managerial, business development, and interpersonal skills, including client servicing, feedback, coaching,  engagement, communication, project management, relationship management and business development
  • Excellent demonstrated oral and written communication skills, project management skills and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders and point of input
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a demanding, deadline-driven environment, multi-task and work independently
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly to different needs, priorities and environments
  • Capacity to build and maintain strong relationships with company personnel and vendors
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully interact with professionals and stakeholders at all levels
  • Ability to travel up to 30%
  • Proficient in use of Microsoft Office suite
  • Certifications relevant to human resources, organizational development, and leadership coaching preferred (e.g., MBTI, DISC, Predictive Index)
  • Can be fully remote
