Essential Functions and Primary Duties: 

The Marketing Specialist creates and leads engaging, scalable marketing programs that drive revenue-generating opportunities for B2B sales teams and through B2C channels. Reporting to Corporate Marketing and taking strategic direction from LIS’s revenue leader, this role will be an individual contributor for the service line backed by peer groups of internal marketing experts.

Primary responsibilities include (% = strategy focus):

Digital Marketing (40%)

•    Establish and scale use of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Marketing Automation throughout marketing and sales channels

•    Maintain existing and create new solutions for managing client and prospect data 

•    Create and optimize inbound and outbound lead generation strategies with web forms, webinars, email, advertising and other strategies 

Brand & Content Marketing (40%)

•    Partner with copywriters and designers to leverage existing and/or develop new thought leadership and promotional content that drives prospect engagement in marketing programs.

•    Lead brand-focused projects in both digital outlets (website, social, etc.) and physical collateral (flysheets, brochures, etc.). 

Project Management (20%)

•    Manage coordination and timely execution of cross-functional projects, including setting, tracking and meeting deadlines, facilitating communication between project team leaders, and bringing project teams together into a cohesive whole.

•    Serve as connector between sales and marketing teams ensuring leads are handed off to sales teams, creating sales-enabling reports and dashboards, and driving internal communication.

Preferred Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Journalism, Communication or related field.

• Experience with and examples of integrated marketing campaign implementation

• Ability to be intellectually creative, strong in process execution, data-driven, and in-tune with sales and marketing alignment

• While not working towards an assigned revenue goal, the desire to win, succeed and outperform the competition is an intrinsic quality that will create success and align with the team’s culture

• Effective written and verbal communication skills to drive internal communication throughout all levels of organization

• Experience with production and creative platforms (i.e., Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office Suite, etc.)

• Knowledge and demonstrated ability to utilize CRMs and marketing automation systems to drive marketing programs

Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent 

• 1 year of relevant experience

• Must be able to work in a team environment

• Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of
organization, both internally and externally

• Proficient use of applicable technology

• Must be able to travel based on client and business needs
