Mergers & Acquisitions Communications Specialist 

CBIZ is seeking a Mergers & Acquisition Communications Specialist. This role will provide administrative and analytical support to primarily the team leader and director of integration, edit and collaborate on written marketing materials respond to requests, schedule and/or plan meetings efficiently and thoughtfully, and interface with high–level internal and external constituents thus must represent CBIZ and the M&A team in the highest professional manner.

Essential Functions and Primary Duties:

  • Write and edit communications, including, agendas, presentation materials, and talking points
  • Create/edit PowerPoint presentations
  • Take initiative to proactively pull together documents, presentations and other materials for key projects and meetings
  • Interact with internal and external constituents, assess needs and provide solutions
  • Plan and oversee preparation for on and off-site meetings including arranging logistics, creating and maintaining agendas and material preparation
  • Work collaboratively with others to execute meetings, events and key projects seamlessly
  • Assist with various projects supporting management and other team members
  • Prudently manage confidential and critical information
  • Processing expense reports for the management team
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned

Preferred Qualification:

  •          Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communication, or related field  

Minimum Requirements:


• High school diploma or GED required
• Bachelor’s Degree or two years of experience on a specialized subject matter
• Must maintain current required licenses and certifications relevant to field of expertise 
• Demonstrates the ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of 
organization, both internally and externally
• Effective customer service skills
• Proficient use of applicable technology
• Ability to work in team environment as well as independently 
• Ability to analyze and prioritize multiple responsibilities
