CBIZ is seeking a full time IT Developer in our Woodstock, GA office to work with the benefits administration group on our current and next generation products, along with providing some data processing support. The programming team builds and maintains our core business systems which are used by internal and client-facing parties to administer employee benefit programs for large and small clients across the country. Our team is a diverse and dynamic group which thrives in a fast paced, results-oriented environment. Essential Functions and Primary Duties

  • Update client-facing systems in response to requests and bug reports
  • Translate specs into operational code in existing products
  • Participate in software development lifecycle with other developers
  • Develop database functions, stored procedures, and triggers
  • Collaborate with the team to overcome technology and business challenges
  • Peer reviews of teammates’ work
  • Diagnose and solve production issues
  • Assist in deployment to production environment
  • Test and document deployed solutions
  • Develop back-end and interface reports and queries
  • Assist with data conversions
  • Process and reconcile data feeds

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2-5 years IT related experience 
  • Experience creating web applications within PowerBuilder
  • Experience coding in PowerBuilder, SQL, PHP, c#.net, or Visual Studio
  • Expeirence using and coding web services or RESTful APIs
  • Knowledge of CSS, Bootstrap, and jquery 
  • Exposure to Object-Oriented Programming languages 
  • Strong problem solving and diagnosing skills 
  • Exposure to Sybase, Oracle, or MSSQL, querying, tuning, and design is a plus 

Minimum Qualifications Required

  • High School Education or GED 
  • Comprehensive knowledge of payroll processing, accounting and payroll tax filing procedures
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients;
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization
  • Excellent customer relation skills
  • Proficient use of applicable technology; aptitude and willingness to learn CBIZ payroll system
  • Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently
  • Able to maintain confidential information
  • Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and pay close attention to detail on many, varied tasks
