The primary objective of the Financial Services Inside Sales Specialist is to work closely with Sales leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to develop high-quality communications to support overall Sales initiatives of CBIZ accounting, tax and advisory services. This role will be responsible for digital lead nurturing as well as support for Enterprise Growth Initiatives.  

Essential Functions and Primary Duties:

Digital Lead Concierge 

  • Make daily outbound calls and send targeted emails to assigned prospects to initiate and nurture meaningful business relationships, improving the quality of leads transitioned to Business Development Professionals.
  • Schedule sales qualified appointments (SQA), with supporting company research, on behalf of Business Development Professionals.
  • Participate in regular dialogues and problem solving sessions with sales and executive leaders to close gaps in value selling, best practices related to targeting, building pipeline and driving high conversion rates.

Enterprise Growth Support 

  • Help facilitate and organize go to market project plans for Enterprise Growth Initiatives (EGI) alongside VP of Growth and various stakeholders 
  • Work closely with Marketing and Sales Management to develop ideal target criteria, targeted lists, call strategies, and messaging to drive appointment setting for new business.
  • Assist in developing and enabling standard presentations and sales playbooks.

Key Performance Indicators

  • Meet or exceed sales qualified appointments (SQA) goal
  • Increased speed to market for Enterprise Growth Initiatives
  • Win/Loss rate on Enterprise Growth Initiatives
  • Clarity and specificity of Project Plans
  • Periodic Solutions Guide Quizzer Assessment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Communications or related field
  • Previous experience with sales software or technology, is preferred.
  • 3 - 5 years professional business experience in an inside sales or outside sales role.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A go-getter attitude ready to get on the phones to create and qualify leads who possesses drive to succeed in fast-paced company. 
  • Strong knowledge of Accounting, Tax and Advisory Services. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Highly organized with excellent attention to detail, with the ability to work flexibly both independently and productively alongside our Sales Leadership team
  • Proficiency in the following tools: and marketing intelligence mediums (Twitter, LinkedIn, Pardot), Microsoft Office Suite 
  • Strong time management, organizational and decision-making skills.
  • Ability and willingness to learn and absorb new information quickly.
