Essential Functions and Primary Duties:

HR Business Partner-

• Partner with business management in support of business objectives

• Address organizational and employee needs through effective execution of processes and programs

• Develop productive and collaborative working relationships with CBIZ associates, HR peers and Corporate HR partners advancing performance through efficient planning, training and engagement of talent

• Conduct employee investigations and corrective action meetings in conjunction with hiring manager

• Respond to employee relations matters to include allegations of harassment allegations in partnership with Sr. HR Director

• Coordinate and conduct training for business unit employees

• Consult with management and associates on employment issues and legal compliance

• Conducts exit survey analysis and proposed solutions

• Leads local efforts in Workplace Awards

HR Administrator-

• Responsible for assimilation of new hires through on boarding

• Maintain current HCM system and maintain secure employee files and reports

• Interface with payroll department for timely and accurate outcomes

• Conduct exit interviews and subsequent activities after

• Communicate and assist in the administration of various HR programs, including; salary administration, health & welfare benefits, performance appraisal planning, and other key programs

• Serve as liaison with associates and Employee Service Center resolving benefit matters

• Administer performance management system and compensation 

• Provide timely and conscientious responses as well as proactive efforts; respond to employees’ and managers’ HR related inquires

• Additional responsibilities as assigned, which may include special projects and involvement in business unit initiatives and resolve a range on internal and external requests



Preferred Requirements:


• Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of increasingly responsible HR management experience preferred

• PHR/SPHR preferred

• Proven success working in multiple geographies

• Retirement Plan services or professional services industry experience



Minimum Requirements:


• High school diploma or GED with 5 years experience as strong HR generalist background required

• Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization, both internally and externally

• Demonstrated ability in negotiation and conflict resolution

• Proficient use of applicable technology

• Strong organizational skills, ability to multi -tasking and prioritize

• Must have attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines

• Must be able to travel based on client and business needs
