Essential Functions and Primary Duties 

  • Partner with business management in support of business objectives
  • Address organizational and employee needs through effective execution of processes and programs
  • Support employee engagement and a positive employee relations environment through timely and conscientious responses as well as proactive efforts; respond to employees’ and managers’ HR related inquires
  • Team with National Recruiting Office to respond and support staffing needs through recruiting activities at both experienced talent and campus talent levels
  • Ensure successful local internship programming in collaboration with local leadership and the National Campus Recruiting Team
  • Coordinate employee onboarding; deliver a positive new hire experience while ensuring compliance of required documents in a timely manner
  • Team with National Training and Development Team to ensure timely and effective training and reinforcement occurs for business unit team members
  • Conduct exit interviews and subsequent activities in response to learnings
  • Maintain and update employee files; complete HR-related transactions and route for required approvals; follow through to ensure timely and accurate execution
  • Maintain current HCM system and maintain secure employee files and reports
  • Interface with payroll department for timely and accurate outcomes
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned, which may include special projects and involvement in business unit initiatives and resolve a range on internal and external requests

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2 years of increasingly responsible HR management experience
  • PHR/SPHR

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or high school diploma or GED with 5 years experience as strong HR generalist background required
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization, both internally and externally
  • Demonstrated ability in negotiation and conflict resolution
  • Proficient use of applicable technology
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to multi -tasking and prioritize
  • Must have attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines
  • Must be able to travel based on client and business needs
