The Growth Marketing Director leads national marketing initiatives across Financial Services’ Tax and Audit service lines as well as for MHM. Taking strategic direction from the business unit’s Chief Growth Officer, the role manages a team of creative, content and digital marketing associates to develop thought leadership, engage target audiences with digital marketing, support revenue drivers and field marketers with resources, and ensure a distinct brand in the marketplace.

Primary responsibilities include:

Project Management & Delivery (33%)

•        Manage and oversee all aspects of projects that are requested of the team as well as developed by senior leadership to ensure they are completed on-time and within budget

•        Serve as key partner with FS Field Marketing Director to ensure team of nearly 20 field marketers and their related practitioners are proactively and reactively receiving support they need to succeed

•        Create culture of transparency through clear reporting on project statuses and outcomes for all stakeholders to utilize

•        Operate as a key partner in the integration of newly acquired tax and audit firms into national marketing standard operating procedures


Brand & Got-To-Market Initiatives / Execution (33%)

  • Drives go-to-market programs alongside business unit leadership and is point on management of execution in the marketplace
  • Create and drive initiatives that ensure field marketers, practioners and business development associates have the physical and digital marketing assets they need to represent CBZI and MHM and in their market
  • Serves as keeper and enhancer of CBIZ and MHM brand across Financial Services outlets and mediums

Thought Leadership Creation & Promotion (33%)

  • Enable team with vision and guidance to partner with subject matter experts to produce thought leadership that drives interest, converts buyers, and creates revenue-generating opportunities
  • Bring senior leadership’s strategies to life with thought leadership (articles, whitepapers, case studies, etc.) that establishes CBIZ and MHM as leader in the marketplace
  • Mobilize cross-functional teams and tactics to promote thought leadership across the nation

Preferred Qualifications:

•    Demonstrated ability to move people and projects towards success using influence and project management strategies, tools.

•    Proven track record of creating public-facing short- and medium-form content (i.e., email copy, blog posts, etc.).

•    Experience with and examples of integrated marketing campaign implementation.

•    Ability to be intellectually creative, strong in process execution, data-driven, and in-tune with sales and marketing alignment.

•    While not working towards an assigned revenue goal, the desire to win, succeed and outperform the competition is an intrinsic quality that will create success and align with the team’s culture.

•    Effective verbal communication skills to drive internal communication throughout all levels of organization.

•    Ability to use digital publishing tools (i.e., Canva, etc.) to scale a message when necessary

•    Awareness of CRMs and marketing automation systems ability to align marketing and sales teams.

Minimum Qualifications Required

•    Bachelor’s degree (marketing, journalism, communications, etc.) required with 6 years of increasingly responsible marketing experience preferred

•    Demonstrate strong interaction with public providing exemplary customer service

•    Ability to prioritize multiple projects

•    Demonstrate autonomy in problem recognition and resolution

•    Proficient use of applicable technology

•    Must be able to travel based on client and business needs
